About Fortline
With our team based in Newbury, Reading and Andover, Fortline provides fire and security services delivered by our own engineers. From your first call to every visit after, you deal with the same local team: people who know your building, answer the phone, and tell you straight where your systems stand. We look after more than 500 businesses, managed blocks and homes.
Why we started
Fortline was set up in late 2024 by engineers with over 60 years' combined experience in the fire and security industry, with one aim: to give businesses, managed blocks and homes across Newbury, Reading and the surrounding area a more personal, local service. We've worked for over 600 customers in the last two years, and over 100 customers are on maintenance and monitoring contracts with us.
Today we look after a heritage building at Greenham Common, an art gallery in Kingsclere, hospitals, warehouses, blocks of more than 100 apartments and private homes, all without long lock-in contracts.

Certified and accountable
Our fire alarm work is led by engineers qualified to Level 3 in BS 5839-1. We're certified Hikvision and Paxton installers, and our customers rate us 4.9 from 123 Google reviews.
Our intruder alarm work is SSAIB certified (PD 6662) and independently audited. Fortline is SafeContractor approved for intruder alarm installation and maintenance (ref. PI7607), and SSAIB certified for intruder alarm systems (ref. BERK083).
